The sound of the bass starts very controlled and focused, and slowly opens into more free expression. While the work is designed to be performed as a set, each movement is a small scale of the whole. Written for Jayme Aumann, Chris McGill, Hannah Hoose, Tim Scearce and his daughter Grace, and India Holden.
